Sprinkler systems are permanent fire extinguishing systems where water or water with foaming agent is used as the extinguishing agent.
Basic elements of the sprinkler system are: adequate supply of water, electric or diesel pump, wet or dry pipe alarm valve, supply and distribution pipelines and sprinklers at a certain opening temperature.
Sprinkler systems are characterized by a simple principle of action in which a sprinkler’s ampoule break and pressure drop in pipelines automatically activates the installation.
